Start the request through your Maskarade customer account or contact hello@maskarade.store within fourteen days after delivery of the last item in the order. Wait for return authorisation and the designated return address before sending anything. For an ordinary change-of-mind return, the customer arranges and pays return shipping where applicable law permits.

For a valid statutory withdrawal or cancellation in the European Union, EEA or United Kingdom, Maskarade does not charge the 4.5% voluntary return processing fee where that fee is prohibited. For an eligible voluntary change-of-mind return from the United States, a 4.5% return processing fee is deducted from the merchandise amount approved for refund after discounts where permitted by law. The same fee may apply to eligible voluntary returns from other destinations outside the EU, EEA and United Kingdom where permitted by law. It is not calculated on shipping, duties or taxes and does not apply to verified faulty, damaged, incorrect, incomplete or legally non-conforming goods.

There is no blanket rule that every opened cosmetic or skincare product is non-returnable. Where applicable law allows it, a statutory or change-of-mind return may be excluded for sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for genuine health-protection or hygiene reasons after the relevant seal has been broken. Faulty, damaged, incorrect, unsafe or otherwise non-conforming products remain subject to applicable consumer rights.

Contact us promptly and provide the order number and reasonable evidence such as photographs where relevant. These cases are not treated as ordinary voluntary change-of-mind returns. Maskarade will provide the repair, replacement, refund or other remedy required by applicable law, and the 4.5% voluntary return processing fee does not apply to a verified problem of this kind.

Refusing delivery, failing to collect a parcel, failing to complete customs clearance or declining to pay applicable destination charges does not by itself constitute a cancellation request or statutory withdrawal. If you intend to exercise a statutory withdrawal or cancellation right, communicate that decision clearly within the applicable period. Where no statutory withdrawal or other mandatory remedy has been validly exercised, and where law permits, actual non-recoverable outbound shipping, return shipping, storage, customs, clearance or carrier charges caused by the failed delivery may be deducted from an amount otherwise refundable after the parcel outcome is known.

Maskarade may wait for returned goods or valid evidence of return where applicable law permits. Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. For a statutory withdrawal, any required reimbursement of the original delivery charge is limited to the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the order unless law requires more. Payment providers can add processing time after Maskarade releases a refund.

A discount does not by itself make a product final sale. Mandatory statutory rights remain unchanged, and any voluntary return conditions apply in the same way unless a lawful product-specific exception is clearly disclosed before purchase.

Skincare is presented for cosmetic use and routine context. Nothing on the site is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a disease or medical condition.

Follow the product label and manufacturer directions. If you have sensitive skin, allergies, are pregnant, take medication or have a medical concern, seek advice from a qualified clinician before introducing a new active product.

These claims are displayed only when verified for the exact product and current formulation.

Maskarade may process identity, contact, account, order, delivery, customs, transaction, device, usage, communication and security information as needed to operate the store. Payments are processed through Shopify and the payment services offered at checkout. Maskarade may receive transaction status and identifiers needed to administer an order but does not need to receive complete payment-card credentials.

Information reasonably necessary to prepare and deliver an order may be shared with ecommerce, payment, hosting, fulfilment, carrier, customs and logistics providers. Eligible orders are fulfilled through a specialist partner in South Korea, so personal information can be processed outside the customer's country. Where applicable law requires an international-transfer safeguard, an appropriate lawful mechanism is used or relied upon.

Essential technologies may support security, Bag operation, checkout, customer accounts, fraud prevention, sessions and saved-reading functions. Non-essential analytics, personalisation, marketing or advertising technologies are used only where enabled and permitted. Where consent or an opt-out is legally required, the applicable privacy controls should be used. Certain laws may also give rights concerning sale, sharing or targeted advertising, including recognition of an applicable opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control.

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive certain data in portable form, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted-advertising or profiling activities. Contact hello@maskarade.store to exercise an applicable right. Some transaction records may need to be retained for accounting, customs, fraud prevention, dispute or other legal obligations.

The amount payable to Maskarade is the amount confirmed at checkout, including merchandise, applicable shipping and any tax or other amount expressly collected by Maskarade. Eligible United States orders on the current route have applicable import duties and taxes prepaid. For other supported destinations, import charges are not prepaid unless checkout expressly states otherwise, and the recipient is responsible for customs clearance, import VAT or duties, carrier brokerage, disbursement or clearance fees, and related destination charges.

You may request cancellation of an item until that item is fulfilled. Once fulfilment has begun or an item has been fulfilled, ordinary operational cancellation may no longer be possible and the applicable return or statutory withdrawal process may apply instead. Maskarade may also decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary because of availability, payment verification, fraud prevention, shipping or product restrictions, legal requirements or an obvious pricing or technical error, subject to mandatory consumer law.

Availability can change until an order is accepted for fulfilment. If an item cannot be supplied after purchase, Maskarade may cancel the affected item or order where permitted by law and will refund any amount due.

The legal treatment of a return, including whether a 4.5% voluntary return processing fee may apply, depends on destination, return reason and mandatory consumer law. The fee does not apply where prohibited or to verified faulty, damaged, incorrect, incomplete or legally non-conforming goods. Nothing on this page removes any mandatory consumer right.
